HCCDF 2019 Brande Lee
My performance of my aerial sling solo, 'frayed Glamour' at the 10th annual Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival in September 2019. This piece discusses the topic of body image and how the pressures of fitting into society 'standards' conditions us to hate what is naturally beautiful about us. I do not own the rights to the music in this video. Music Credit: Marilyn Manson: "The Beautiful People" Mary Lambert: "Body Love"
